Description
Gorgeous vintage handpainted lacquer brooch from Russia.  The pin, measuring 2 3/8" long x 1 5/8" wide is beautifully painted on chocolate brown with teal, green, blue, beige and pink flowers.  A gold painted border frames the floral design and the black lacquer back is signed in gold by the Russian artist.  It has a crude "safety pin" clasp which is in working order.  It is in excellent condition with no visible flaws-- white marks are from the flash on the glossy surface.  The muted colors over brown make this a fabulous pin for any season.   Watch my auctions for more vintage costume jewelry.
